Check total mowing area and whether the lawn is divided into separate zones.
Note narrow passages, gateways, level changes, trees and obstacles that affect access.
Plan a suitable charging location and discuss which navigation approach fits the site.
A robotic mower follows a planned work area and cuts little and often. The exact mapping, navigation and charging approach depend on the model and the garden layout.
Not these FJDynamics models: the published FR4000, FV2000 and Vela information describes virtual boundaries. Their navigation technologies differ, so the installation plan still needs to suit the property.
Start with lawn area, separate zones, access routes, slopes, obstacles and the intended charging location. We can then compare the FR4000, FV2000 and Vela against your garden.
Each model has its own published slope specification. Check the relevant product page and discuss the actual gradients, transitions and surface conditions before choosing.
The current listed prices are £2,600 ex VAT for FR4000, £1,800 ex VAT for FV2000 and £3,000 ex VAT for Vela. VAT-inclusive figures and final configuration details are shown or confirmed on each product page.
Yes. Contact Iron & Earth with your garden details and we can discuss suitable equipment and demonstration options.
FR4000 and FV2000 use RTK with vision-assisted systems, while Vela uses LiDAR and RGB vision sensor fusion. The right approach depends on the garden, signal conditions and installation plan.
Tell Iron & Earth about your garden and we’ll help you explore the FJDynamics options that may suit your requirements.
